Nice to meet you :)

I am an art therapist/counsellor in private practice, working with adult clients in Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal.

My clinical training is in museum art therapy, university counselling, community public practice, and I’ve had the honour of working with university students, children, adults in retirement age, and everyone in between. My past clients sought art therapy and counselling for help with depression, anxiety, grief, interpersonal stress, racial battle fatigue, and more.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked at the National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC), where I was head of Outreach & Education. I balanced this work (a combination of public health, knowledge translation, community education, and project management), with community arts work at Kapisanan Philippine Centre for Arts & Culture, and a thriving visual arts practice.

I am graduate of Concordia University’s Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapies (Art Therapy Option) where I received awards for my research (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada SGS Master’s, Storytellers National Finalist & more). I have also been awarded for my work as an artist (2019 Edmonton Burlesque Festival Bunny Competition, Montréal arts interculturels Alliance Program & more).

I am an unapologetic intersectional feminist who works within an anti-oppressive, social justice-focused framework. You can learn more about my therapeutic orientation and philosophy here.
